Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge from Belfast (May19 – Aug19)

Depart from Belfast at 9:30 am and make your way to the majestic Giant’s Causeway.
Get around 1.5 hours to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site on your own. This wild and beautiful formation is a consequence of ancient volcanic activity, the solidified lava now layered across 40000 hexagonal columns stretching for a distance of over 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles).
Next, go to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, that links the mainland to the tiny lands of Carrickarede. Walk across the bridge for free when it is open and take in the views of Rathlin Island and Scotland. Spend around 1 hour 30 minutes at this stop to enjoy the amazing view.
Travel to the Dark Hedges, an avenue of beech trees that have been featured in films and on television. In the TV series Game of Thrones, the Dark Hedges was featured in season 2 as the King’s Road.. Walk down this romantic lane and spend around 15 - 20 minutes here. You will understand why this location was featured in movie like the Transformers and TV show like the Game of Thrones.
